The cottage is a nineteenth century croft house which was extensively rebuilt and extended in 1992. It has been in our family for over 100 years.

Downstairs, there is a comfortable sitting room with seating for 6, a TV, video, DVD player and music centre. We have now installed free wi fi braodband.

The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, wa shing machine, tumble drier, dish washer, kettle, toaster, and mixer. All crockery, cutlery and dishes are supplied.

There is a separate dining area which seats 6. The sun lounge allows you to sit comfortably and enjoy the stunning views.

The downstairs bedroom has a king size double bed and ensuite toilet and shower.

Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. There is a bathroom and toilet.

There is an enclosed garden with a south facing patio. Parking is available for 2 or 3 cars and the cottage is 200m off the road. You are welcome to explore the surrounding fields and hills but this is at your own risk: please leave gates as you find them.

A cot and high chair are available, as is a chest of children’s toys.

Heating is all electric and windows are triple or double glazed. The energy efficiency rating is band D and the environmental impact rating is band F.
